Good Luck Soup – Sausage & Lentils

Italian Pork Sausage, decased

2 tbsp Tantillo California Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Mushroom, sliced

White Onion, chopped

4 cups water (enough to fill pot 3/4)

2 cups Lentil

Savoy Cabbage

Lacinato Kale


1Cook sausage in olive oil.

2Take sausage out of pan and deglaze the pan.

3Saute the mushrooms and onion, add water and let boil.

4Add lentils to boiling water.

5Let them cook about 20-25 minutes.

6Add cabbage and kale.

7Let simmer for about 15 minutes.
