Kale Pasta MI4


1/2 lb linguine

2 tbsp Tantillo California Extra Virgin Olive Oil

3 gloves chopped garlic

1/2 vidalia onion, chopped

3 links Italian sausage

Red pepper flakes, to taste

2 bunches kale- coarsely chopped

Splash heavy cream

Toasted bread crumbs


1Cook pasta according to directions on package, set aside and reserve some pasta water. Remove sausage from casing.

2In a heavy skillet, combine Tantillo California Extra Virgin Olive Oil with garlic and onions.

3Once the garlic begins to soften, add the sausage and red pepper flakes.

4Cook together with a spoonful of pasta water and add kale.

5Cook all together for about 8 minutes, adding pasta water if mixture becomes dry.

6Stir in heavy cream, scraping up sides to get all the meat mixed in.

7Simmer mixture and stir in pasta.

8Sprinkle with toasted bread crumbs. Buon Appetito!
