2 Full-screen Sausage Fra Diavolo April 8, 2016 Ingredients 3 links Italian sausage 3 oz. red bell peppers, cored and diced 3 oz. green bell peppers, cored and diced 3 oz. yellow bell peppers, cored and diced 3 oz. orange bell peppers, cored and diced 1 Italian hot pepper, chopped 1 medium tomato, sliced and diced 3 cloves garlic, chopped fine 3 oz. Tantillo California Extra Virgin Olive Oil 8 oz. tortellini Directions Prepare Pasta: 1Add tortellini to a pot of salted boiling water 2Cook until they float, about 6-8 minutes 3Reserve about 2 oz. of the water when done Prepare Meat: 1Remove sausages from their links and cut into small pieces 2Heat a small amount of Tantillo California Extra Virgin Olive Oil in a deep saute pan, then add sausages 3Once browned, remove from pan and set aside Prepare Peppers: 1Degrease saute pan, then heat the rest of the Tantillo California Extra Virgin Olive Oil over low heat 2Add garlic and cook until it’s translucent and slightly browned 3Add salt, pepper and red pepper flakes to taste, then add diced bell peppers 4Sauté 6-7 minutes, then add diced tomato and browned sausages along with the reserved pasta water 5Add cooked tortellini and stir to combine 6Allow to simmer for about 2-3 minutes, then serve close full screen 00:00 0 Reviews Cancel reply Your name ...
